Mission Statement

JAMESTOWN PRIDE SOCIETY and IDENTITY EXPRESSION GROUP Mission Statement We welcome you to be part of our fun, diverse family! Our goal is to promote tolerance and acceptance throughout the community for all individuals who share a common vision of social and legal equality. Through our activities we aim to reduce any feelings of isolation or separation that may exist by creating an atmosphere of inclusion for all in a positive and non-judgmental environment. Activities include social gatherings, hobby clubs, activism, conferences and we continue to expand based on the ideas created by society members like you! Monthly Society Meeting(S) The Jamestown Pride Society will meet on the first and third Monday of every month The last Monday of the month is a Board of Directors meeting. The Idenity Expression Group meets at the same times as public meetings and on the second Monday of each month, arrangements can be made to meet or assist those still not out or afraid of public settings. Monthly Social Gathering Approved proposals put into action will take place at the society's monthly social gatherings. These gatherings will be fun, informal and will provide the opportunity to meet, greet and socialize with others. These may include bowling, crafting, hiking, dinner, movie, picnics, parades, conferences etc. Whatever the society has voted to do. Dates will vary. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Jamestown Pride Society and IEG, we welcome you to attend any of our meetings or gatherings!
